∼The Middle of the Garden∼

My experiences from walking and talking with Jesus in the middle of life's garden…a blog by Janet Williams

What would you give to have security?

To know that no one could ever take your

money, possessions, family or freedom away

from you again, what would you give for that?

To know the stock market won’t wipe out your

life savings?

To know that the plant won’t close when you’re

only one year away from retirement?

To know that not only will the medicine work 100%

but the illness will never, ever return?

To know you don’t need locks on your doors or

a safety deposit box?

To know you don’t need to be suspicious of strangers?

To know with certainty that the food you are

eating is good for you?

To know that you will not be falsely accused and

not believed and thrown in prison for a crime

you didn’t commit?

To know that your good name and your upstanding character can never be erased by someone who is devious and destructive?

How much would you give to feel that security all the time, deep inside and never have that feeling leave?

If you had to choose between having the kind of safety and security that is described above or having the kind of world that John Lennon spoke of in his song, “Imagine” which would you choose?

God is giving you that choice. But, it is not the choice between two earthly, present day experiences. One is His chosen kingdom that is to come in the future and the other is John Lennon’s fantasy?

Will you give up what you have today for the promise and hope of the kind of future described above? Or will you cling to a fantasy and strive to make his wish a reality today without any promise that you will succeed? Are you 100% sure that what John Lennon sang would save the world is really the answer?

Jesus said that He had the answers, all of them. He proclaimed to be God in the flesh. He also proclaimed that He was coming back again to establish His kingdom. The security and safety spoken about will become reality when He returns and sets up His kingdom. Jesus is asking you today, He said, “ Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in and eat with you, and you will eat with me.” Revelation 3:20 (NCV)

That is the Blinking In Sunlight moment when it all begins!
